Welcome
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience working with both adults and children in various settings. My background includes psychological assessment, psychotherapy, and teaching. I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University, a Master’s in Teaching from Fordham University, and an undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Chicago. I completed postdoctoral training at the William Alanson White Institute and currently teach and supervise doctoral students at Yeshiva University, while maintaining a private practice in Brooklyn Heights.

Colleagues, students, and patients have described me as warm, perceptive, and skilled. I specialize in psychodynamic therapy and have received advanced training in a variety of other evidence-based treatment approaches. My approach is tailored to the unique needs of each individual, with a focus on fostering lasting change.
I have expertise in helping people navigate a range of psychological difficulties, including trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, attention issues, and relationship challenges. I work with clients of all ages, addressing concerns such as PTSD, gender dysphoria, medical issues, eating disorders, grief, and separation/divorce. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic theory, but I also draw on modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), couples and parent-child therapy, and attachment and mentalization-based psychotherapy. This integrative approach allows me to create a safe, empathic environment in which long-standing difficulties can be explored and resolved.

With a background in school settings, I also specialize in child and parent-child therapy and offer neuropsychological evaluations. These evaluations help identify learning disorders, ADHD, autism, language difficulties, and other cognitive concerns. The insights gained from these evaluations can guide treatment plans, inform educational accommodations, and provide a deeper understanding of a person’s unique experience.
